Super Granny
EMMA: | Hi, Granny. What are you doing? |
GRANNY: | I’m looking at this gadget. It looks like a computer screen. |
SIMON: | It’s my new tablet. It’s sort of a computer. |
GRANNY: | A tablet? How does it work? |
SIMON: | Oops, the tablet is off. Now it’s on. |
GRANNY: | Where are the buttons? |
SIMON: | Do you mean the keys? It doesn’t have keys. |
EMMA: | You just swipe the screen. |
GRANNY: | Then I need a cloth. |
EMMA: | Why do you need a cloth? |
GRANNY: | To wipe the screen. That’s what you said, isn’t it? |
SIMON: | Oh, Granny, you’re joking. |
GRANNY: | Of course I am. I want to show you my holiday photos. They’re online. |
EMMA: | There is an app for that. |
SIMON: | I can show you. Tap on that icon there. |
GRANNY: | Hmmmm. What if I move this and put it here? |
EMMA | Right, you drag it and drop it. |
GRANNY: | Okay, I think I’ve got it. |
Now Granny is excited. She taps and types, adds apps and swipes. She drags and drops, and finally, she stops.
EMMA: | Oooh, Granny, what is that? |
GRANNY: | I’m not sure. I tried to make a 3-D photo. |
SIMON: | It’s a hologram. Dad is not going to believe this. |
