Super Granny

EMMA:

Hi, Granny. What are you doing?

GRANNY:

I’m looking at this gadget. It looks like a computer screen.

SIMON:

It’s my new tablet. It’s sort of a computer.

GRANNY:

A tablet? How does it work?

SIMON:

Oops, the tablet is off. Now it’s on.

GRANNY:

Where are the buttons?

SIMON:

Do you mean the keys? It doesn’t have keys.

EMMA:

You just swipe the screen.

GRANNY:

Then I need a cloth.

EMMA:

Why do you need a cloth?

GRANNY:

To wipe the screen. That’s what you said, isn’t it?

SIMON:

Oh, Granny, you’re joking.

GRANNY:

Of course I am. I want to show you my holiday photos. They’re online.

EMMA:

There is an app for that.

SIMON:

I can show you. Tap on that icon there.

GRANNY:

Hmmmm. What if I move this and put it here?

EMMA

Right, you drag it and drop it.

GRANNY:

Okay, I think I’ve got it.

Now Granny is excited. She taps and types, adds apps and swipes. She drags and drops, and finally, she stops.

EMMA:

Oooh, Granny, what is that?

GRANNY:

I’m not sure. I tried to make a 3-D photo.

SIMON:

It’s a hologram. Dad is not going to believe this.
